You have to watch this video. It shows Leah Remini at a THR Reality Roundtable as a complete fanatic, making a bombshell admission that tears apart her entire reality show: Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.
The video mysteriously disappeared from the Church’s YouTube channel and it turns out that The Hollywood Reporter (or their parent company Prometheus Global Media) has filed a copyright complaint that prompted the takedown. But the 27-second clip is unquestionably fair use out of a 1-hour roundtable.
THR, seeing that Leah Remini’s own words—out of her own mouth—were damaging to her agenda, ordered a takedown of Freedom Magazine’s video off YouTube. And it was done by Jason Al-Samarrie, YouTube Channel Manager for THR, who exclusively told Freedom it was because Remini had “complained to the higher-ups” at THR. Al-Samarrie also noted there was an entire email thread circulating THR about it.
The video is of Leah’s dramatic admission that she vets nobody on her TV series. When Lacey Rose, Television Editor at The Hollywood Reporter, asks “Leah, I want to turn to you. How much vetting is done of the people who are going to tell their stories on your show? Is that something… do you have people who have to sort of make them prove their stories?”
Remini’s response “What do you want me to do? Prove it to me?!… So there is NO VETTING. I go take their word for it.”
Lets put it this way: if the videos circulating the web from Leah Remini’s own father outright exposing how she treats family were an 8 on the scale of “WTF,” this is a 10.
